WHAT WE DO

At Robert Bruce, our business focus is working with each school uniform shop or school uniform re-seller to service their needs. We manufacture and supply their required uniform range to meet the school’s distinguished identity, the student’s fit and sizing and the school’s cost and service requirements. We can produce any customised uniform garment and we have immediate supply of stock service lines.

Robert Bruce understand the uniform shop business model, so it’s in our interests to help the school manage costs to parents whilst ensuring your students are dressed in a well fitted and quality made garment.

PROUD HISTORY

Robert Bruce Apparel has been operating under the ownership and management of the Fletcher family since the 1970s and is synonymous with great wearing design and high quality construction of men’s trousers, suits, bowls wear and school uniform apparel.

All apparel manufacturing took place in company owned and operated factories in Sydney’s Inner West under the brands of Marco Productions, Robert Bruce and Stamina.

Australia’s major department stores and independent menswear outlets in every town and city in Australia stocked Stamina school uniforms, Robert Bruce sports coats, trousers, bowls creams, corduroy slacks and dress suits for over 40 years.

THE ROBERT BRUCE LABEL

Today all our garments are produced under the Robert Bruce label and the company is still wholly owned and operated by the Fletcher family. We proudly produce Australian made garments for men, women, boys and girls, using Australian woven wool and blended fabrics.

We have expanded our indent range and produce a range of stock service apparel and made to order designs with our partnering manufacturers in the Pacific region.

Because we work intimately with our garments and have produced school uniforms for over 40 years, we understand the nuances of fabric, patterns, sizing, grading and fitting, the demands that children place on garments, how they grow and wear into their clothing, the expectations that parents have of their children’s uniform purchases and the level of quality and service that our school shops expect.

We apply these valuable insights and considerations into all aspects our of garment manufacturing and service principles.
